Mi tutor - My adviser.

Este es mi tutor, quien me ayudó muchísmo desde el primer día. Tiene puesta la estola que le regalé, y me dijo que era la primera de este tipo que recibía, cosa que me parece muy rara pero... mejor para mi :-)

This is my adviser, who helped me a lot ever since the first day. He is wearing the stole that I gave to him, and he said that this was the first one of this kind he had gotten, I think this is strange, but... better for me :-)

Más o menos habían unos 35 grados, y no nos dejaban entrar hasta las 12:00. Así que hubo tiempo para algunas fotos.

There were about 103 F that day, and they didn´t let us in till noon. So there was some time for pics.

Graduación - Graduation.

18 C bajo 0 - 3F below 0

Cuando me dijeron que habían 18 bajo 0, pensé que se había equivocado con la equivalencia. Pero supongo que eso explicaba que cuando salí ese día a ver como era el vecinadario, solamente llegué a la esquina y casi que tuve que correr de vuelta!


When i was told the temperature in Celsius, I thought he had made a mistake with the equivalences. But I should have thought that this was the reason why I had to run back home that morning when I went out to check the neighborhood.

La misma noche - The same night.

Bowling

Fuimos a un bowl, y esto es todo lo que quedó de la noche. Había fotos de mi en esa nueva experiencia, pero bueno, otra vez será.

We went bowling, and this is all that remain of that night. There were pics of me going through that new experience... but oh well, I am sure there will be another chance.

Viaje a Colorado - Colorado trip.

Fui a Colorado a visitar a un ex compañero de clase. En realidad una excusa para conocer otro lugar. Pero lo cierto es que no conocí mucho: no solo mi amigo es un bodrio con patas (no sé como voy a traducir eso, creo que mejor ni lo hago :-P), sino que encima hizo un frío como hacía mil años no hacía en Boulder, Colorado... O al menos eso fue lo que me dijo todo el mundo.

Además, perdí las fotos. Sip, quedaron en un disco duro que murió, nunca tuve tiempo de pasarlas a CD. Solamente pude recuperar unas cuantas que había subido a otros sitios. Así que no van a ver mucho, pero que quede para el registro que sí fui a Colorado.

I went to Colorado to visit an ex classmate. It was actually an excuse to see a different place. But the truth is I didn't get to see much: not only my friend wasn't really active, but on top of that it was as cold as I hope I never get to be again. Everybody there said that it hadnt' been that cold in years and years.

On top of that, I lost the pics. Yep, they are in a haard drive that died, I never had the time to burn a CD. I could only recover those pics that I had already uploaded to other sites. So you won't see much, but for the record: I did go to Boulder, Colorado.
