Él era el animador en el hotel, y terminó siendo mi guía también. Una buena mustra de lo amables que son los arubianos!

He was the animator (or whatever the word is) on the hotel, and he ended up boing my guide too. A good sample of how nice the arubians are!

Dijo: Aruba es el lugar donde te dicen que vas a tener que esperar 2 min, terminan siendo 5, y vos quisiseras que hubieran sido 8". A mi regreso descubrí que tenía razón.

The magigian que was in the hotel and that I had the pleassure to assist!

He said: Aruba is the place where they tell you you have to wait 2 min, they end up being 5, and you wish they would have been 8". On my way back I discovered he was right.

The boats came right straight to the center of the mall from the carebean sea. How about that?

Oranjestad!

Me encantó la ciudad. Algo de lo que me gustó más de Aruba que de Cancún, es que es menos... comercial. La ciudad es preciosa, a veces se parece a Punta del Este, y a veces se parece a La Paloma... siempre tomando lo mejor de los dos lugares. Adoré Oranjestad.

I loved the city. Something I liked more about Aruba than Cancún, is that it's... less comercial. The city is gorgeous, sometimes it reminded me of Punta del Este, sometimes it reminded me of La Paloma... always taking the best of both places. I adore Orangestad!

Supuestamente el estilo es de villa holandesa. El eslogan de la isla es "una isla feliz" o "el caribe holandés. Fue gracioso ver el contraste de todo lo que es tipicamente caribeño con lo holandés... contraste que uno ve en todas partes. Por ejemplo, los arubianos... no se ven holandeses... pero sus apellidos sí!

Supposedly the styly of the hotel was a dutch ville. The slogan of the island is "one happy island" or "the duch carebean". It was funny to see the contrast between things that are tipically carebean with the dutch part of it... a contrast that you can find everywhere. For instance, the arubians don't look dutch... but their last names do!

Mi habitación era enorme al igual que mi cama :-P El hotel realmente precioso. No solo el lugar, sino también la gente. En general la gente de Aruba me encantó. Se veían siempre muy felices.

Mi room was huge as my bed. The hotel was gorgeous. Not just the place, but also the people. In general I loved the arubians. They always looked very happy.
